In Grabovača one is able to uncover the inappreciable affluence of underground karstic forms, 1/4 of the total number of protected speleological objects in Croatia.

The complex of diverse and precious speleological forms, as far as the abundance of calcite creations is concerned, in a spatially restricted locality of only 1,5 km2. It consists of eight caves, three of which are on the list of protected national geomorphologic monuments of nature, and one hole: Samograd, Medina špilja, Amidžina špilja, Velika Kozarica, Mala Kozarica, Tabakuša i Slipica-Jama/Japaga, Gradina cave, cave in Prvan selo….

Cave Park Grabovača is located near important traffic routes, on the state road D-50 between Otočac and Gospić, in the town of Perušić, on the motorway Zagreb-Split, exit Perušić, 2,5 km from the centre of Perušić.

Cave Park Grabovača as a complex texture of clean nature, it offers a variety of experience and values in an ecological, scientific, aesthetic and educational sense.
